Valentine Mansion, an 18th century Colonial Revival Style mansion, sits above the city in Springfield, MA. Built in 1877, Valentine Mansion is on the National Registry of Historic Places and has maintained its original style and charm for well over a century. With 30 rooms including a ballroom, two kitchens, 14 bedrooms and a number of sunrooms, patios, and a veranda with a full view of downtown, there is plenty of room to relax and unwind. The mansion also features a foyer with Italian Mosaic flooring,10 uniquely handcrafted fireplaces with detailed mantles, a piano alcove, stenciled & beamed ceilings, a dumbwaiter in the serving kitchen, and antique lighting.
Valentine Mansion truly boasts something for everyone. Guests are welcome to read a book while lounging in the Silver Sunroom, have a glass wine in the glow of one of the 14 handcrafted fireplaces, enjoy a nice meal with friends in the dining room, or enjoy the amazing city view from the veranda.
